Privacy Policy

What we access

ScanFox requests a single Shopify permission: read_products. We read product titles, variants, SKUs, barcodes and prices — only to render the labels you ask us to print. ScanFox cannot modify any data in your store.

What we store

• Your shop domain, currency and app settings (default template, printer offsets, darkness, plan).
• Print job metadata: which template, how many labels, when, and the variant references included — so you can reprint a job in one click.
• We do not store product data (titles, prices and barcodes are re-read live on every job) and we do not store any data about your customers.

Customer data (GDPR/CCPA)

ScanFox does not collect, process or store end-customer personal data. Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks are implemented:

• customers/data_request — we reply that we hold no customer data.
• customers/redact — nothing to delete; acknowledged.
• shop/redact — all stored shop data (settings and print history) is permanently deleted.

Uninstalling

When you uninstall ScanFox, your session is invalidated immediately and all remaining shop data is permanently deleted when Shopify sends the redact request (~48 hours later).

Third parties

ZPL label previews are rendered via the Labelary public API: the label layout (ZPL text) is sent for rendering; no shop identifiers accompany it. No analytics or advertising trackers are embedded in the app.
